Nynne Kunde
Born in 1993 just outside Copenhagen, Nynne Kunde developed a profound interest in the world of Art & Design from an early age. In 2014, Kunde began fulfilling this passion by attending Istituto Marangoni in London to study Fashion where alongside her studies she worked at ready-to-wear label Rejina Pyo.
Upon graduating in 2018, Nynne was named ‘Womenswear Designer of the Year’ during the Istituto Marangoni London final year’s fashion show and subsequently launched her label NYNNE.
Nynne’s Scandinavian roots play a significant part in NYNNE’s designs, where the clean minimalistic lines are complemented with the vibrant colours and details synonymous with London’s cosmopolitan energy. The two cities balance each other out with their distinctive styles and ambience, proving the perfect inspiration for the designer as well as the locations of the brand’s studios.
The label’s brand philosophy lies in the exploration of dressing as a form of power, and NYNNE aims to uplift the everyday wardrobe of women globally through glamorous yet pragmatic clothing meant to amplify confidence. NYNNE maintains a truly global sentiment and by encouraging women of every demographic to transcend the endless flow of superfluous and short-term trends with individual stand-out combinations.
In May 2019 Nynne has been selected as the winner of the third edition of I’M Alumni Collections ®evolution and showcased her SS20 collection “Ducens Domina” during Milano Fashion Week at Palazzo Serbelloni, hosted by Ermanno Scervino.
